Melissa completed her dance training in Australia followed by a two year scholarship at the Academie de danse classique in Monte Carlo. She then went on to dance at a soloist level in Germany with the Chemnitz Ballet and as a guest artist. In 2006 she graduated from the Laban Centre in London with a BA (hons) degree and has since worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher.
