Heather Eddington welcomes commissions to work intensively with a group or dance company to create an original dancefilm. Heather would direct, film and edit the piece producing a high quality dancefilm, which each participant would receive on DVD.

The residency would look to develop participants’ knowledge of the differences between live and filmed work, and their experience of performing in front of the camera. They will also gain a clear understanding of what is required of them when working with a director and the techniques imposed when working with digital technologies and new media.

Workshops can run over 3-5 full days or could be delivered in a series of shorter sessions as part of an after school club. Heather will then professionally edit the footage to create a unique dancefilm. At the end of the workshop all participants will be given an individual copy of their finished dancefilm on DVD.
